Today's meeting was attended by Hollie, Dean, Jess, Joe, Matt and myself.
The meeting this week was moved to Wednesday instead of the usual Friday, as 3 members of the team are going to ffresh on Friday, and other members wanted to help Rachel Williams out on Friday as she'll be doing the filming for her project. This was out first meeting after skipping a week for reading week as a lot of us went home. A lot of us have been focusing a lot of energy into our dissertations atm, however as they are due Monday after that everyone on the team will be free to work on the project as long as they manage their Business deadlines, and the next business deadline is in April!
Joe
The fae rig might be a day or so late, due to ffresh and dissertation hand in. Joe's done a nice FKIK snap to script which will solve some of the issues with the little girl where the FKIK didn't match up when people switch between them. The fae was due out on the 22nd, however due to ffresh and dissertations this is unlikely to happen. A final deadline for the fae rig has now been placed for the morning of the 27th.
Matt
The centaur will now be a week late, it was due on 18th, this was then changed to the 20th, and due to an issue with the arm breaking this will now have to be moved to the 25th. The 25th will be the final final final deadline for this rig, as otherwise it's going to eat into Matt's time more than is helpful to Matt or the team. The centaur rig is not being used by anyone who needs it for a few more weeks yet anyway, but it's important that the time doesn't run away with us on this rig. However the rig and it's controllers are looking great so we're all looking forward to the rig being out!
Dean
The fae's low and high poly have now been done and handed over to the rigger, so feedback on this was mostly focused on what could be done in the texturing . We agreed that the colour of the fae should be similar to the trees in the environment, and be predominately brown, with nice green patches and stuff. Dean has also completed the bow for the centaur, so this has been handed over to Matt for rigging.
Jess
Completed the logo, which is looking nice. We however noticed that the logo has a white middle in the O and not a transparent middle, which will be solved in the next few weeks. We looked at her statue, and advised a few tweaks and to space the ploys slightly more before taking it into zbrush.
Hollie
The Bark Basher rig is almost finished, with it's final deadline of the 22nd. Is looking good now a few tweaks have happened with the geometry. The crystals on the back jiggle which is absolutely amazing.
Next meeting - due to be held on the 1st of March.
